About The Position

The US Oncology Network is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team at Texas Oncology. This full-time hybrid position will support the Surgical Specialties A/R Department at our 3001 E. President George Bush Hwy Suite 100 location in Richardson, Texas. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p. LTIP awards are subject to your continued employment through the award payment date, and are governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP document. What does the Revenue Cycle Manager do? (including but not limited to) Manages individual contributors responsible for nurturing and maintaining relationships with assigned sites of service to achieve practice goals. Aids in escalated issue resolution, revenue cycle management strategic planning, and site of service communications. Supports all activities associated with the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects that relate to critical business goals while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Accountable for people-management activities and responsible for establishing goals and objectives for the department. Follows standard procedures and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology’s Shared Values.

Requirements

  • Position requires degree in Finance, Business or equivalent or 7+ years revenue cycle experience.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, coding and medical terminology, as well as an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of multiple PMS platforms and oncology billing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines, including ensuring claim payment accuracy and timely denial management.
  • Provide oversite of refund disputes and implement process revisions as needed.
  • Coordinate and or provide training for A/R staff, and retraining as needed.
  • Provide a central resource for A/R processes, like claim denials and appeal creation. Work with offices to ensure compliance with USON and AOA operating procedures.
  • Conduct audits of staff productivity.
  • Super User of Practice Management System and interfaced systems.
  • Ensures roll-out of System updates to A/R team.
  • Chairs Revenue Cycle task teams
