About The Position

Responsible for the operation and management of Cardio Pulmonary at Sycamore Medical and Respiratory at Franklin Emergency Department including supply inventory, expense budgets, productivity, education, licensure, and all daily operations. Additionally the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a role model for KHN Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

  • Graduates of 2-4 year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Respiratory TherapistLicensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio
  • 10 years of clinical experience in Respiratory field; 5 years minimum experience in supervision (KHN preferred)
  • RRT Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory CareActive AARC member, current BLS with ACLS, PALS, and NRP for perspective work area
  • Strong supervision, personnel, leadership, and education skillsStrong oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses good clinical and technical knowledge of Respiratory CareStrong computer and EMR understanding.

  • Oversees the process of performance appraisals in a supportive and caring manner.
  • Takes an active role in the investigation and follow-up of all disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Oversees, maintains, and reviews the budget, billing, operations summaries, and action plans for continued professional growth.
  • Actively maintains a leadership role in the training, promoting growth, and development for all acute/critical care therapist relating to quality, staffing, and application of respiratory care performed in the department.
  • Attends and participates in scheduled committees and meetings to promote, develop, and evaluate improvement in patient care on an ongoing basis.
