The position involves directing the personnel and activities of a project management unit, focusing on the development and implementation of work processes and financial management tools. The role is responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, controlling costs, and achieving business goals while fostering a diverse and high-performance culture.

  • Manage the budget of an assigned portfolio of work, establishing and monitoring business plans and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an environment that fosters a high performance culture and a learning organization.
  • Provide leadership and development for direct reports, conducting performance planning and appraisal processes.
  • Interface with other departments and represent Exelon to other business units regarding projects under management.
  • Facilitate open and honest communication across the organization, ensuring upward communication is integrated into the process.
  • Manage large and/or highly complex projects or programs, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and 7-10 years relevant project management or related experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or achieve PMP within two years of job entry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing large, complex projects using project management techniques.
  • Proven leadership ability in a high performance culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus, communicate effectively, and engage others in processes.
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience or knowledge of utility design/planning/construction or Information Technology
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Annual salary range: USD $120,800.00/Yr. - USD $181,200.00/Yr.
