About The Position

Manage and develop the Office Services and Housekeeping Services support functions for the Harrison General Office to ensure a high level of quality, safety and cost-effectiveness. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years’ experience in office services, facilities, operations, or related functional area(s)
  • Proven leadership and negotiating abilities
  • Good interpersonal and problem resolution skills
  • General knowledge of building systems and building maintenance principles and practices
  • Knowledge of general office, services, regulation/operations and equipment relative to USPS, Express and Ground carriers and company freight
  • Must possess good organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software including, but not limited to: Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to learn computer systems and/or software programs applicable to the operations of Office Services

Nice To Haves

  • In depth knowledge of company functions, operations and needs from a services department, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Select, educate, develop, motivate and lead a staff of employees
  • Select, negotiate, facilitate contractual agreements and manage the performance of outside vendors
  • Oversee the receipt and internal distribution of all inbound freight, US mail, truck mail and small packages leveraging associated tracking systems for internal tracking and oversite
  • Develop quarterly and annual business plans; develop and manage budgets for Office Services and Housekeeping Services
  • Evaluate, pursue, and develop opportunities to provide additional and/or enhanced services to internal customers that are balanced with functional goals and objectives
  • Support and review efforts to ensure safety performance of people and improve overall morale within respective functions
  • Manage departmental moves, space planning, Audio/Visual support and video conferencing including ordering and coordination of office furniture for the Harrison General Office; oversee set up for large scale events
  • Oversee internal print production and mailing activities
  • Oversee Office Services and Housekeeping Services functional groups to maximize engagement and efficiency
  • Evaluate, develop, and pursue methods to control costs within respective functions
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
