Located on a 27-acre wooded campus, Fairmount Behavioral Health System is a peaceful, therapeutic environment for patients and families. The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. We are currently seeking a temporary Registered Nurse to join our team. The Nurse Manager provides administrative and clinical supervision to all nursing staff and psychiatric technicians on two or more units. The Nurse Manager is a liaison to department directors and administration to ensure coordinated and efficient operations of services and departments on their unit. The Nurse Manager promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System and the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
Two (2) years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population, previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric setting preferred.
Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse, American Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate preferred.
Certification in CPR, AED and First Aid.
Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
previous clinical supervisory role in a psychiatric setting preferred.
