The Behavioral Health Manager oversees and supports Clinical Staff within the Behavioral Health Unit. This role ensures high-quality patient care by maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act, Standard of Practice and facility policies and procedures. The Manager provides leadership, training, and mentorship to staff while fostering a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Evaluates performance of nursing personnel and nursing care and suggests modifications. Oversees the provision of patient care for adults and older adult patients. All duties are in collaboration with the Director of the Center for Behavior Health.

Requirements

  • Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory /management experience necessary.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Five (5) years Psychiatric Nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Current ACLS Provider Certification preferred.
