About The Position

Manages a segment of a program or a function. Responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies. Program Manager responsibilities include: planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large delivery order or mid-size technical services-type contract. The hours for this position are 6:00am – 2:30pm with 11 Direct Reports and 15 Indirect Reports consisting of Salaried and Represented Employees. The Manager will be responsible for all Navy Parking and Building Coordinator Duties for the entire B86. A large amount of the work day is spent outside walking extended distances in all types of weather gauging customer needs for service and improvements

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience
Master?s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
