Position Summary: The Multi-Site Manager of Engineering reports directly to the System Director of Engineering with responsibility for the management of all facility based Engineering Departments as assigned. The Multi-Site Manager is expected to manage a schedule which requires presence at multiple locations. There should be a regular on-site schedule established with each location complimented with unscheduled site visits for facility inspections and documentation audits. Requirements

Minimum Education: College degree in related area or equivalent experience required.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years management in healthcare plant operations.
Experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Experience with capital and operational budget planning as well as construction project planning and management.
Licensure Requirement: Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated Insurance coverage.
Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.

Responsibilities

Work with site Team Leaders to insure all testing and inspection activities are completed along with the associated documentation as required by all regulatory agencies.
Perform regular inspections and audits at all assigned facilities to insure Facility Engineering Departments are maintaining site specific buildings, grounds and equipment in compliance with all SOC, EBBI, NFPA, ADA, and Design and Construction Guidelines.
Provide support from Engineering Services to site Safety Teams, Infection Prevention Teams and Environment of Care Teams as needed.
Assist site Team Leaders in managing staffing levels and scheduling within productivity targets and guidelines.
Provide support with time keeping responsibilities to site Team Leaders.
Assist site Team Leaders in monitoring contract services to ensure the highest level of quality and cost control.
Assist the System Director in managing the daily operations of the Central Plant Operations Team.
Assist the System Director in managing the operational budgets for all Facility Engineering Departments and Central Plant Operations.
Assist the System Director in managing the capital budgets, purchasing and project planning for all Facility Engineering Departments and Central Plant Operations.
Local travel required.
Assist in the planning and management of large and small scale construction / renovation projects as directed by the Vice President of Properties.
