About The Position

MGR. Nursing - Med Surg Tele (MST III) position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA This is a Full-time, Evening shift position. The Manager, Med Surg Tele Nursing has 24-hour accountabillty to manage the day-to-day operations and is responsible for all aspects of clinical supervision of nursing care on the unit. Assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities, such as productivity, quality, safety, patient satisfaction, employee enagement, etc, Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency standards (OBRA, Title 22, Joint Commission, etc.). Supports and promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the unit. Represents the Director in his/her absence. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. Requirements

Associate’s degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting required.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 day of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
Demonstrates proficiency in Cerner.
Must have knowledge of PC and applications.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
Three (3) to Five (5) years management or supervisory experience highly preferred.
Successful completion of chemotherapy course preferred.
