The Materials Manager leads a dynamic, multi-level team overseeing inventory, production control, and scheduling for the Georgia site. This role drives strategic coordination with purchasing to meet shared goals and plans production schedules, removing obstacles to meet targets. This is a high-impact position for a leader ready to shape supply chain excellence!

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree required or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 10+ years of materials experience with 8+ years leading teams. Experience with Oracle Fusion a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments, from individual contributors to upper management.
  • Ability to motivate employees to achieve goals.
  • Problem solving skills and experience with continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for global service complaints, ATF, and OTS failures at source locations.
  • Drive site execution to plan, optimize Oracle-based warehouse planning, and manage intracompany replenishment and forecast reviews.
  • Review manufacturing variances monthly and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Oversee annual standard cost reviews and settings for purchased parts.
  • Manage monthly Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reporting and corrective action planning.
  • Develop and execute production schedules that align with inventory targets and customer service goals.
  • Accelerate engineering changes and new product launches to meet program timelines.
  • Build high-performing materials teams; coach and develop talent.
  • Manage export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and proper use of duty-free equipment.
