Mgr. Materials Management, North Surgery Center

About the position

The Manager of Materials Management position is located at Community Surgery Center North. This position is responsible for managing surgery materials point of use system. The Manager oversees site operations and process workflows, team growth, and team performance. This position works closely with the Director on overall facility management plan and has full working knowledge of all department roles and responsibilities. The Manager represents supply chain distribution on the Network value analysis team and meets with clinical department leaders to assess supply needs.

• Meet with clinical department leaders to assess supply needs.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of distribution or supply chain experience preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role required.
• Experience in the sterilization process and high-level disinfectant preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Fundamental understanding of surgery materials processes and preference cards required.
• CRCST certification preferred.
• Ability to think critically and independently resolve problems.
• Adaptability to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the sterilization process and high-level disinfectant.
• CRCST certification.
