About the position

The position involves maintaining accurate physical inventory counts on a daily basis and acting as a liaison between buyers, data processing, and the warehouse regarding all matters concerning inventory. The role requires handling all aspects of inventory control, solving complex problems, and dealing with a variety of inventory control situations where minimal standardization exists. The individual will function as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company. Additionally, the position includes supervising associates, which encompasses staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution. The role also involves interpreting and analyzing numerical data, performing basic inventory control analysis, handling stock adjustments, and conducting inventory and cycle counts. Effective communication with customers, vendors, and company personnel is essential, as is monitoring and following up on product complaints. The individual will analyze inventory issues and take necessary actions, including maintaining surveillance of possible issues.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 4 - 6 Years experience in Warehouse Procedures
  • Basic knowledge in Purchasing, data processing, and warehouse procedures
  • Basic knowledge of inventory reports
  • Team lead or supervisory experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 - 10 Years Inventory Control/QA Experience
  • Extensive knowledge in Purchasing, data processing, and warehouse inventory procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory reports within the foodservice industry
  • Supervisory experience.
