As a Manager for Industrial & Technical Procurement you will deploy sourcing projects for local manufacturing site and deployment programs across technologies and platforms. The Manager for Industrial & Technical Procurement is the primary procurement point of contact for the local affiliate stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics, MBA degree is a plus
  • Exposure to a multinational environment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in People Management
  • Understanding of Risk Management, KPI’s
  • Experience with creation, execution, and monitoring of local agreements
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Align local, regional sourcing plans and influence internal stakeholders to deploy global or regional initiatives locally
  • Support local Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop and deploy initiatives
  • Maintains knowledge of current suppliers and continually researches options for alternative suppliers for the assigned area
  • Provide advice and guidance on market sources, intelligence and trends and facilitate innovation by applying a solid framework with suppliers.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans
  • Drive continuous improvement and simplification of technical procurement processes in alignment with regional and global procurement operations.
  • Ensure local and regional Technical and Facilities Procurement objectives implementation, putting in place key control measures and relevant KPI’s
  • Improve the team’s performance by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements, assessing training needs and providing development opportunities
  • Focus on building a talent pipeline and effective succession plans for key positions
