About The Position

This position provides Project Management leadership & is responsible for end-to-end Product Development projects leading cross functional team with KPI’s as Launch on Time, Budget, Cost & Quality. This role will be located within commutable distance of Middletown, PA or Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • Graduate / master’s in engineering with 15-18 years of experience.
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience in industrial product / Hardware domain.
  • Distributed & multi-cultural team management experience.
  • In depth understanding of Toll Gate / Stage Gate process in Product development.
  • Experience in effective project management strategies and tactics.
  • Experience in managing teams including performance management, rewards, and recognition.
  • Experience in staffing, performance management, mentoring and coaching.
  • Extensive experience in Stakeholder management, requirement management.
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes (Moulding, stamping, plating).
  • Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Extensive experience in project planning, execution & effective risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS office tools (XL, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback period).
  • Certified PMP or equivalent project management certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to regulatory approval process such as UL, CSA, CQC, VDE etc.
  • Experience in Terminal and connector industry or products.
  • Exposure to Agile Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility of managing 2-3 complex projects with successful project planning & execution to meet project charters and internal as well as customer requirements.
  • Manage & Develop team of 3-6 project managers.
  • Create individual development plans for direct reports.
  • Develop knowledge sharing environment and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Envision the BU/ segment future & develop and implement PMO operational strategy.
  • Drive diverse and inclusion workplace by identifying individual differences and their value.
  • Identifies and manages stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage the Project Capital, Expense and Resource Expenditures to stay within budget.
  • Create, monitor, and control risk management plans.
  • Support alternatives evaluation, variance analysis, cost calculations, etc.
  • Develop the Project Communication Plan, lead periodic Management Level Project Reviews.
  • Developing project schedules, resource requirements and budget forecasts.
  • Perform integrated Change Management Control.
  • Addressing and resolving issues/impediments in project.
  • Leading continuous improvement of existing processes and implementation of new project components.
  • Monitoring of internal resources with appropriate function, resolving operational issues.
