The position involves partnering with multiple location leaders in the planning process to ensure strategic plans drive business results, optimize customer service, and align with core behaviors and values. The role includes developing people strategies that support various business strategies and objectives to drive business and organizational performance. The individual will support and influence key operational and strategic decisions across multiple building locations. Additionally, the role requires understanding general business conditions affecting industries, functions, and geographical regions while staying current on HR research and trends to present an informed point of view. The position also entails providing counsel, coaching, and consultation regarding leading people and organizational management practices to develop location people leaders and their leadership teams. The individual will manage and supervise a team of HR Advisors and HR Coordinators, including performance management, development, coaching, and training to ensure the continued upskilling of the building HR team. The role involves partnering with location leadership teams to engage and coach associates on the floor to promote Lowe’s core behaviors and values. Furthermore, the individual will leverage human capital expertise to advise and hold locations accountable for sustaining engagement action plans, using enterprise data to proactively identify and react to key talent/associate engagement challenges and opportunities. The position also includes participating in the interview and selection process for location people leaders, leading talent assessment and development discussions, and supporting all aspects of HR during new location openings, closings, or relocations.
