• Budgeting and expense control experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.

Nice To Haves

• Technical diploma in Funeral Services or Mortuary Science preferred.
• Conversant in industry and financial acumen.
• Ability to create clear presentations and data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the funeral home and single line of business.
• Develop annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with Market Leadership.
• Prepare operational and personnel budgets and communicate company strategies to staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring on-time services that exceed customer expectations.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Participate in community and civic organizations for local promotional efforts.
• Maintain facilities and grounds, budgeting for repairs and improvements.
• Facilitate arrangements conferences with deceased next of kin, promoting available services and merchandise.
• Preside as Master of Ceremonies for services, ensuring a professional and caring environment.
• Develop and coach a reliable team, providing feedback and tracking progress.
