About The Position

Work with the FP&A Director to develop and execute key strategies to support the department and corporate mission. Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations. Essential Duties Team leadership including selecting, developing, and motivating a team of employees. Foster a collaborative environment, delegate tasks effectively, and support professional growth. Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Execute performance management processes and set clear goals for the team. Provide financial analyses, studies, and counsel on all matters of potentially significant financial impact to the organization and develops budgets. Oversee financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to support decision-making. Forecasting and metrics as appropriate to support corporate initiatives/objectives using current technologies available. Develop professionals while creating an effective organization in support of company strategic priorities. Analyze financial trends, variances, and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities. Develop and present financial reports, including P&L, cash flow, NPV, IRR, and other key metrics. Ensures financial integrity with regard to manpower usage and cost, asset management and program controls. Partner with business areas to analyze financial impact of KPIs to measure success (DRIVE). Effectively represents the interest & perspective of Finance management. Comfortably navigates open ended assignments (greenspace analytics). Effectively represents the interest & perspective of Finance management. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
  • Expertise in DRIVE methodology to ensure accountability and governance.
  • Strong analytical, human relations and communication skills.
  • Experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-functional project teams.
  • Actively provides and seeks out leadership roles.
  • Proactively keeps all parties and Finance Leadership informed.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in shifting priorities to meet changing demands.
  • Demonstrates attention to quality and initiates quality improvement processes.
  • Developing expertise in DRIVE methodology to ensure accountability and governance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
