Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities Services, Planning and Development, manages the installations, operations, procurements and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems and fire alarm systems. Coordinates and provides leadership to maintenance and HVAC staff regarding the operations and maintenance of facility equipment. Supports how repair and maintenance projects are implemented to satisfy the client’s needs.. Is responsible for construction methodology, space measurements, contract management and day to day support of projects. Ensures that all projects whether the design is in house or by outside consulting firms are in compliance with applicable building codes and regulations. Generally, acts as the contributor and coordinator of construction field activities. As such, coordinates construction documents, specific actions, and contracts for routine and complex construction projects.
