The Environmental Services (EVS) Education & Training Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of all staff education, onboarding, competency validation, and regulatory training programs across Huntsville Hospital campuses. This position provides functional leadership for workforce development and ensures consistent adherence to cleaning, disinfection, waste management, and safety standards. The Manager is accountable for supporting regulatory readiness by aligning departmental education with Joint Commission, Leapfrog, and infection prevention requirements through competency validation, audit tracking, and performance-based training initiatives. This role partners with EVS leadership to identify performance gaps, implement targeted education plans, and drive process improvement through standardized training and competency management.
