About The Position
This role is for a front line engineering supervisor of a team ranging from 8-12 engineers. The department which this role will support is responsible for all machinery within the A1B/CVN 78 Ford Class Aircraft Carriers and will be directly involved with the build of new equipment and ships, support of the equipment's design, and the support of delivered, operational fleet assets. Not only will your team support the design, build and test of your equipment on new ships, you will also support fleet troubleshooting of your equipment, the maintenance, design improvements, and ownership of the technical manuals for the equipment.
