About The Position

Notice: Funding available through 09/14/2026; continuance beyond that date is subject to the Department's operational needs as outlined in UBPPM #3200, Employee Classifications, http://policy.unm.edu/university-policies/3000/3200.html The Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Preventive Medicine, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Clinical Trials Operations Manager for the HOMES project. This project is being funded by the State of New Mexico in cooperation with the Department of Workforce Solutions. This position will oversee and execute all aspects of the study including multi agency recruitment, training, data collection, and reporting. This study will seek to ascertain the needs and conditions of unhoused populations in New Mexico, engaging a partnership network that spans academic institutions, community health services, and government bodies. The study aims to provide actionable data to inform targeted interventions by community and public health groups, clinical organizations, and academic institutions. This position will serve a key role by overseeing and administering all facets of the day-to-day operations, serve as a liaison with internal and external constituencies on all matters relating to study activities. The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in an organized, effective, and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Requirements

  • Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • National certification from Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates is required to oversee Phase III clinical trials.
  • New Mexico licensure as a Registered Nurse may be a requirement for some positions in this classification.
