As the Manager - Clinical Documentation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clinical documentation practices, ultimately ensuring that our care delivery meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• State of Ohio Nursing License
• 5 - 7 years of job-related experience
• Prior experience as Clinical Documentation Nurse or Team Lead
• Leadership skills
• Ability to analyze and prioritize work efforts
• Extensive knowledge of computer systems/applications in CDI

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of documentation guidelines and communicate changes
• Audit documentation quality for accurate statistics and reimbursement
• Support hospital quality systems through data analysis and reporting
• Monitor and test CDE computer applications
• Provide supervisor training on documentation improvement
• Ensure competency of Clinical Documentation Specialist staff
• Lead, hire, and train site-based CDE employees
• Develop ongoing documentation improvement education
• Serve as direct contact for Physician Documentation Improvement
