Summary: Manages product development activities of specific applications including process improvement, workflow analysis, system analysis, systems design, and programming in the design and development of new systems or revisions to existing systems. Collaborates with IT Leadership and business partners. Oversees large-scale projects from conception to completion. Provides planning, consultation, and advisory services on systems development in collaboration with IT Leadership and business partners. Reviews completed work and work in progress for completeness, efficiency, accuracy and adherence to system standards. Participates in end-user monitoring and desired outcomes, and makes recommendations for new opportunities that meet business needs. Aligns with operational peers and is aware of business customers concerns, goals, and objectives. Ability to identify and collaborate with customers to determine future needs and strategically plan deployments. Participates in contracting and budgetary processes. Oversees employee management activities including recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, and evaluating department employees. Trains develops, counsels, disciplines, and if necessary, recommends dismissal. Recommends promotions and transfers.
