Assistant Director of Assessment & Referral Full-time Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Assistant Director of Assessment and Referral assures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. Receives incoming admission inquiry calls, assesses patients for admission, and makes appropriate referrals. The Assistant Director also participates in staff evaluation, shift leadership, and provides task assignment and accountability necessary to complete all admissions related duties for their shift.

The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
The Assistant Director of Assessment & Referral must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department and hospital.
Master’s Degree required in Psychology, Sociology or related field.
Two (2) years’ experience clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
LCSW, LMSW or LPC preferred.
CPR Certification required.
Prefer knowledge of recruitment, selection, benefits, employment law, worker’s compensation, compensation, employee relations.
Advanced computer skills required.
