About The Position

The Skirt Insertion Press Operator will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL. Will be required to ensure proper operation of a machine that presses the skirt onto the tank. Will be required to operate/monitor a PLC. Will be required to use a PLC to input material requirements information. Will be required to manually unload skirts from conveyor and load into press. Will be required to orient tanks before attaching skirt. Will be required to perform other assembly tasks as needed. Will be required to perform change over and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed. Will be required to make minor repairs and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment. Will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance. Will be required to maintain quality standards established for the process. Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions. Must maintain good housekeeping in work area. Must observe all departmental safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED
