About The Position
Mass General Brigham is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Internal Resource Pool (IRP) at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire. This program offers RNs the flexibility to schedule short- or long-term assignments within our network of hospitals at a premium pay rate. The IRP is designed for nurses who are looking for a flexible work schedule, work-life balance, and the opportunity to work in various inpatient or long-term care units without the need for travel. This role is ideal for those who want to explore different types of units and hospitals within our system or are looking for a pathway to a long-term career. As a clinical nurse, you will be responsible for providing competent, passionate, and individualized nursing care to specific patients and their families. This includes the delegation and supervision of non-professional clinical and support staff. You will be accountable for the overall nursing care management of a designated group of patients, collaborating with the Nursing Director and the Patient Care Team to achieve efficient patient outcomes. Your role will also involve ensuring that care is safe, effective, timely, and culturally sensitive to meet the diverse needs of each patient and family. In this position, you will articulate the professional nursing role to patients, families, and health team members, coordinate patient care, document relevant patient data, and communicate effectively with other healthcare team members. You will also participate in performance improvement activities and maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that you stay updated with current nursing practices and contribute to the overall improvement of patient care services.
