As a part-time MFT Student Trainee, you will work onsite at Alliance Medical Center (AMC) under the supervision of an AMC clinical supervisor to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage and family systems. The part-time Student Trainee will apply psychotherapeutic and family systems theories and techniques while gaining experience in providing services to individuals, couples, and families with a focus on mental health diagnosis and treatment. The part-time MFT Student Trainee role is designed to develop one's clinical skills under the guidance of a licensed AMC clinical supervisor. In this traineeship, students receive one hour of individual supervision (or two hours of group supervision) for every five hours of direct client contact, with regular mid-term and end-of-term evaluations from the assigned AMC clinical supervisor. Supervision is provided remotely while the trainee works on-site at an AMC site. This is a part-time, 20-29-hour-per-week traineeship, grant-funded for a nine-month term, to begin in Summer 2026.
