About The Position

Support the senior Test Manufacturing Engineer who is the first escalation point of contact for testing and programming operations: Leak Test, Final Run Test, Motor Programming, and Controller Programming. Support proper operation and maintenance of testing and programming equipment on all assembly and support lines. Assure accessories used for testing operation are available for immediate replacement if necessary: Thermocouples, control cables, power plugs. Support the senior Test Manufacturing Engineer in troubleshooting failures of heat pumps and test equipment to locate root cause and provide resolution. Data analysis, report issues, and findings using the FPY report. Assist in training of operators at 'Run-off' stations to ensure tests are being properly performed. Identify and resolve improvement opportunities and gaps with training. Create and update work instructions to reflect current procedures in testing and validate improvement ideas with the test engineer. Recognize deficiencies in the test process and find options for improvement together with senior Test Manufacturing Engineer.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
