The Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. They identify and escalate quality issues seen on the manufacturing floor. The MQ Technician will focus daily on auditing processes, root cause investigations and documenting non-conformance issues. Requirements

  • High School diploma or higher
  • 2-4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
  • Attention to details with high focus on Quality and Process / Product Improvement
  • Possess a high level of integrity and strong work ethic
  • Ability to drive improvement efforts
  • Ability to communicate issues verbally and in writing to all levels of employees

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • Understanding of ESD Compliance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)

Responsibilities

  • Perform Daily Audits for Quality and Compliance
  • Monitor all production areas for customer requirements, proper SOP, tool compliance and other process & quality issues. Primary focus is in Server Build area
  • Report feedback of any quality or compliant issues to quality engineers
  • Ensure all tools and resources are in working order
  • Support root cause analysis of any quality or compliant issues
  • Communicate with Manufacturing Engineering Team or Training Team if additional tools, resources, or training is required for the production team
  • Monitor Quality of Output
  • Identify potential issues and drive preventive actions on a real-time basis
  • Ensure corrective actions affecting quality are completed on a timely basis
  • Perform pilot build inspection for each new product SKU
  • Create specific SKU audit checklists based on known issues from vendor or customer feedback, or ZT investigations
  • Investigate and document causes of vendor non-conformance issues in the Quality Incident Report Database
  • Manage/escalate issues impacting quality and communicate to In-Process Quality Control inspectors, leads and Supervisor / managers
  • Create time-sensitive quality alerts for process gaps, inspections, and reworks
  • Open Quality Incidents (QI) for supplier quality issues reported during manufacturing
