About The Position
Temp Employnet is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.
Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period
- Ability to work on ladders
- Manual dexterity
- Works under close supervision
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
- Communicate and can follow verbal/written directions
Responsibilities
- Collect recycling items from production
- Flatten out carboard and other recyclable materials
- Sort through recycling and trash bins
- Transport the recycling items from bin to the container
- Loads and off loads pallets from trailers
- Stages material in Warehouse lanes as instructed
- Moves materials to production and/or other locations as required
- Packaging/unpacking material as needed
- Examines items for defects, wear or damage
- Reports information to WHS manager
- Maintains records of damaged stock
- Maintains records of damaged material-handling equipment
- Performs any other tasks asked of
