Job Summary Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Provides technical support to engineers during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility. Assists in the development of layouts or floor plans, conducts tests and troubleshoots equipment. Documents test procedures and results. Solves routine technical problems.

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
