About The Position

As a Cycle Counter, you'll be part of our team located in Jackson, TN. You'll get to accurately count items by location and systematically record count details into the Cycle Count application. Your responsibilities will include reconciling inventory variances, determining the root cause for inventory variance, identifying item variances requiring recounts based on company policy, preparing and sending detailed cycle count reports for all counts, and performing audits as assigned to correct inventory errors as they occur. You will need to plan, organize, and possess analytical skills to ensure the success of daily tasks. Additionally, you will understand and follow the Jackson site's environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with your work activities, and perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school or GED equivalent plus 1 year of equivalent experience and/or training.
  • Experience with SAP (Inventory transactions, movement types, reporting and history analysis).
  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to uphold 5S standards.
  • Understanding of Root Cause Analysis and various methods (5 Why).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and math skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control.
  • Ability to understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality.
  • Comply with all work instructions as determined by ISO standards.
