Key job responsibilities As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will be directly supporting our drone vehicle production assembly process to identify and communicate methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize the assembly process. In addition to product assembly support, the candidate will also be cross-trained in vehicle testing process for production support as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly
  • Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
  • Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, ie. Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience working in aerospace or a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Linux

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
  • Execute assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts using proper tools and techniques
  • Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables relative to assigned drone assembly process(s).
  • Work with production and the operations teams to help execute production readiness and testing responsibilities.
  • Identify and recommend improvements by contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
  • Attention to detail in repetitive tasks
  • Support / Execute vehicle testing as needed to ensure product functionality and conformity.
