About The Position

The Mexican Restaurant Food Server position involves providing professional, efficient, friendly, and responsive customer service to guests at the food service outlet. Responsibilities include informing guests of specials, answering questions about menu items and preparation, taking orders, serving food and beverage items, and pre-bussing tables. The role requires maintaining accurate information regarding menu items and ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a S. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card.
  • Must have an Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and flexible.
  • Ability to work in a busy restaurant atmosphere.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and friendly customer service to guests.
  • Inform guests of specials and answer questions on menu items.
  • Take orders and serve food and beverage items.
  • Pre-bus tables and maintain cleanliness.
  • Up-sell appetizers, beverages, and desserts.
  • Enter food orders accurately into the POS system.
  • Deliver prepared food to guests and ensure satisfaction.
  • Present check for payment and thank guests.
  • Follow scripting guidelines for guest interactions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
