  • Experience with multiple parameter families (torque, pressure, force, mass, thermodynamics, temperature, electrical, wire, dimensional).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications and translate them into practical measurement set-ups.
  • Demonstrated success leading process-improvement or project-management activities (Lean, Six Sigma, RCCA, Agile).
  • Experience presenting calibration concepts, results, and recommendations to non-metrology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the engineering focal for calibration-related activities across production, labs, quality, and engineering.
  • Design and evaluate calibration system hardware, software, and workflows to meet program test and production requirements.
  • Apply analytical tools and uncertainty methods to verify calibration process capability and alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Develop and improve calibration procedures, specifications, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Drive continuous-improvement projects that reduce cycle time, improve M&TE availability, and increase test-system reliability.
