Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Three (3) years of experience in metrology/calibration.
• Experience working from drawings.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Testing, calibration, adjustment, cleaning and minor repairs to mechanical and optical measuring equipment, as well as unique design gauges.
• Utilizes Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing methodology.
• Performs the calibration, adjustment, and maintenance of tools, gauges, specialized test equipment, engineering test equipment, production test positions, molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, assemblies, and templates to fulfill manufacturing quality requirements.
• Performs the mechanical calibration on all material / equipment fabricated to company drawings to fulfill quality requirements.
