About The Position

At Fluke Park in Everett, our Metrology team plays a vital role in supporting manufacturing by delivering precise, traceable calibrations for industry-leading instruments. As a Metrology Technician, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team supporting the production of newly manufactured long-scale digital multimeters and RF calibrators, working in a collaborative, ISO 17025–compliant environment that values precision, learning, and continuous improvement. In this hands-on role, you will: Perform calibration and adjustment of long-scale DMMs and RF calibrators in support of manufacturing operations. Execute calibration procedures using established methods, equipment, and documented processes. Document results, collect and analyze data, and generate accurate calibration records and certificates. Maintain calibration standards and meet defined schedules and quality requirements. Troubleshoot test issues and work cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing and measurement challenges. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, and repeatability. Share knowledge and best practices with peers in a team-oriented lab environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in calibration, test, manufacturing test, or electronics laboratory work (or equivalent technical training).
  • Foundational understanding of electrical measurement principles (voltage, resistance, current, frequency).
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, sources, and calibrators.
  • Comfort following detailed procedures and working in a quality-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to support off-shift hours, overtime, or weekends as needed to meet manufacturing demand.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with long-scale DMM calibration, RF measurements, or automated calibration systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or working in a regulated calibration environment.
  • Associate degree or technical training in electronics, metrology, engineering technology, physics, or related field.
  • Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent technical background.
