About The Position

As Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing/facilitating calibration and preventative maintenance of measurement instruments. Additional responsibilities include supporting Metrologist activities such as MSA, TMV, Equipment Ordering, and other items as needed.

Requirements

• Work experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Education: Associate Degree or Technical certification in a technical field preferred and/or previous work experience.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles and uncertainty analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform or facilitate calibration/verification of measurement equipment
• Maintain accurate records of calibration results, certificates, and equipment history in the calibration management system.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, replacing equipment as required.
• Assist in developing and improving calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Manage calibration schedules to minimize downtime and ensure timely service.
• Operate and maintain calibration tools, standards, and reference instruments.
• Support internal audits and customer inspections related to calibration compliance.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on proper equipment handling and measurement practices.
