As a Metrology Technician III, you will support the manufacturing process through calibration of test and measurement of equipment, to include RF measurement, DC to AC voltage measuring test equipment; perform work of moderate complexity within defined policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Calibrate inspection, measurement and test equipment in the following disciplines – electrical, dimensional, optical, physical/mechanical in order to ensure compliance with published specifications.
Maintain primary and/or intrinsic calibration standards; maintain secondary and/or working calibration standards.
Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable; prepare calibration reports and certificates.
Recommend standards for use in calibration applications.
Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards and techniques to accomplish unique measurement tasks for which they are not principally used.
Develop, document and maintain calibration systems and procedures, based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems and accuracy and precision requirements.
Develop, implement and maintain the calibration laboratory’s quality systems per published standards and guidelines.
Performs complex work, using judgment within defined and established policies, procedures and standards while maintaining the spirit of excellence.
Improve and maintain 5S in your area, make suggestions for improvements.
Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities in own work area as well as events for other areas to enhance cross-functional problem solving.
