As a member of the R&D Metrology team, the Metrology Engineer develops calibration procedures, performs measurement uncertainty analysis, and contributes to developing measurement techniques in collaboration with NPD and Service Center technical teams. Additionally, they act as a technical representative for the R&D Metrology Lab, which calibrates R&D, MFG, and Service Centers' equipment. Come join our team! As a Metrology Engineer you will focus on the science of measurement. Your main tasks will include developing detailed measurement uncertainty budgets in accordance with the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM). You will also write and maintain calibration procedures, making sure they are current and meet industry standards.
