Requirements

  • Functional familiarity with GD&T ASME Y14.5
  • Uses hand tools; Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Pin Gages, Thread gages and optical comparators to inspect supplier parts to Applied Materials prints
  • Assists in the development, application, revision and maintenance of quality standards.
  • Uses hand tools; Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, Pin Gages, Thread gages and optical comparators to inspect supplier parts to Applied Materials prints
  • Assists in the development and uses test procedures.
  • Prepares documentation for inspection/ testing procedures.
  • Recommends corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.
  • Gathers operational and test data and evaluates results.
  • Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies.
  • Participates in audits.
  • Utilizes drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches, adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures when necessary.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specification requirements.
  • Basic understanding of Coordinate Measurement Machines and their use.
  • Understanding and use of Zeiss Calypso measurement software
  • Understanding and use of Faro Arm utilizing CAM 2 Software
  • Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
  • No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution
  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments
  • Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding
