About The Position

A day in the life You start with a safety walk, confirming our Site Safety Program is being lived by everyone on shift. 5S housekeeping checks follow, and you reinforce our Beyond Zero safety and wellness mindset. You gather the team to align on the day, translating site-level and company-wide strategic initiatives into clear actions. As work progresses, you make sure the Operating System is understood, reinforced, and embedded in how the team executes. Throughout the day, you review work orders, verify schedule adherence, and close any gaps you see. You partner with the Site Manager to measure and report key maintenance KPIs, using root cause analyses to create and drive action plans. You remove roadblocks, communicate priorities, issues, and equipment status to the customer, and nurture a positive, profitable relationship. You manage costs with care—labor, overtime, and material consumption—approving any overtime for the team. You coach, mentor, and invest in one-on-ones that grow skills and careers. You close the day by leading a focused team huddle, recognizing wins and clarifying what’s next. What you will lead Own the Site Safety Program; champion 5S standards and Beyond Zero initiatives. Manage performance, provide development opportunities, and mentor through regular one-on-ones. Ensure the Operating System is consistently practiced and improved. Assist the Site Manager with KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement actions. Communicate priorities, issues, and equipment status to the customer; sustain a strong partnership. Help manage expenses (labor, overtime, materials); approve any overtime for the team. Review work orders and schedules; identify and correct gaps. Lead and contribute to team meetings as an influential, solutions-focused leader.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college with a minimum of 3 years in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency: Microsoft applications, web-based tools, and CMMS software.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundational business acumen (contracts, understanding the customer’s business, negotiation, billing models, financial exposure, relationship building).
  • Planner/scheduler experience is ideal.
