Metrology and Quality Control Technician

We’re a global manufacturer committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and we’re hiring a Metrology and Quality Control Technician as a direct-hire on 1st shift. Picture this A production run flags an out-of-spec reading. You verify the gauge is in calibration, run confirmatory tests to the applicable standards, capture results in a clear report, and collaborate with production and Quality leadership to determine root cause. You help initiate corrective action, update ISO 9001:2015 QMS records, and track the data trend to ensure the fix holds. That’s a win for the customer and the team. In this role, you will Perform routine quality testing and inspections to defined standards. Support the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Assist internal audits and verify conformance to quality and performance standards. Complete accurate documentation, test results, and formal reports. Analyze quality data to spot patterns and areas for improvement. Support investigations of customer complaints and assist with corrective actions. Coordinate calibration of gauges, scales, and testing equipment at scheduled intervals. Work directly with production so quality requirements are understood and met. Suggest improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and cost.
Requirements
- Experience in a quality, lab, or manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality control processes, testing methods, and documentation.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards (plus).
- Detailed, organized approach with strong follow-through.
- Ability to follow procedures, specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Comfort working with data and producing written reports.
- Team-first attitude and clear communication skills.
