Requirements

  • Experience with the use and operations of general test equipment from a variety of disciplines.
  • Experience utilizing computer controlled automatic software and associated test equipment.
  • Experience in using computer programs for word processing and document generation, I.E. Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to follow general instructions without supervision.
  • Physical Dimensional calibration experience.
  • Experience with multiple disciplines of calibration (Phys/D, Torque, Pressure, Optics, RF, etc.).
  • Familiarity with following Quality Processes, and participating in audits.
  • Experience with automated calibration software: Met/CAL, SureCal, Agilent VEE, etc.
  • 3-6 years direct calibration/metrology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate calibration methods rooted in measurement‑science principles.
  • Identify and quantify error sources to assess uncertainty and reliability.
  • Perform hands‑on calibration of electronic, electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, Temperature, Physical Dimensional and pressure‑type instruments.
  • Analyze measurement problems and recommend technical solutions to meet precision requirements.
  • Document procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
