About The Position

The Method Specialist is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety. Defines, develops, deploys and improves maintenance processes, methods and plans. Supports significant item’s improvement and new items’ projects and ensures IE interface. Is a CMMS expert in spare parts method role.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Knowledge in Data science
  • Master the integrated management software and the CMMS
  • Knowledge in lean manufacturing, breakdown analysis and data analysis tools
  • Trained and efficient in advanced problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Define PM Strategy / necessary preventive maintenance tasks / PM Planning
  • Analyze and interpret maintenance data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI to monitor asset performance, maintenance KPIs, and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and operations teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies for optimizing maintenance workflows.
  • Utilize predictive analytics and historical maintenance data to forecast future spare parts demand and prevent stock shortages.
  • Define, structure, compile, updates, ensure availability of operational documentation (plans, procedures, technical doc, standards) for preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Implement maintenance standards
  • Structure, collect, analyze maintenance data (spare parts, interventions, events, critical items)
  • Optimize maintenance processes through structured practices.
  • Reduce costs of preventive maintenance (plans) through structured analysis (costs compilation and tracking, budget analysis, corrective actions)
  • Establishes the original maintenance plan, FMEA and initial logistical resources (spare parts, tools, etc.)
  • Train maintenance technicians on preventive tasks and CMMS utilization
  • Manage projects on the maintenance side (specification, sourcing, gates, etc.)
  • Participate to specification definition and realizes FMEA
  • Provide external services for its scope (preventive and curative maintenance, spare parts) in conjunction with the purchasing department
  • Identify competent external companies
  • Contract with external companies
  • Manage contracts (maintenance part) and evaluates companies and services
  • Participate to relevant team meetings
  • Determine the spare items to keep in stock for maintenance
  • Reserve or issues a purchase request for spare items
  • Order spare items from suppliers --> for new spares and particular interventions
  • Establish and monitor contracts with suppliers
  • Develop CMMS expertise, support maintenance teams (all areas) and lead CMMS new features implementation
