About The Position

The Industrial Engineering team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Methods Process Analysts (Levels 2, 3, or 4) to join our growing team located in either Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, or Frederickson Washington, USA. The ideal candidate will apply business acumen and knowledge to partners with cross functional teams from production operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. Candidates will engage with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be self-starters as well as collaborative team players. Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments will be key responsibilities for the candidate. Adaptability to changes in tasks, work environment, and work structures is also a crucial strength.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math
  • 3 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years’ proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • 3 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
  • 3 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Proficient in structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.
  • Develop forecasts, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
  • Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.
  • Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.
  • Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.
  • Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow plans, #1 flows, and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment, material and personnel.
  • Assists in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.
  • Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
  • Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.
