About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for Mid-Career or Experienced Methods Process Analysts (Level 3 or 4) to join the Boeing Renton Industrial Engineering team located in Renton, Washington, USA. Our mission is to have one inclusive team, safely providing the highest value, flight critical machined parts and assemblies for all of BCA programs. We are seeking a new team member to join the 737 Quality Factory Quality Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic and creative thinking skills, utilizing data and analytics to make well-informed decisions. It is essential that the candidate can effectively collaborate within cross-functional teams and establish partnerships with senior leaders. Additionally, the candidate will focus on production stability, implement lean methodologies, assess and perform to rate readiness requirements, and improve quality through root cause analysis. Candidates will engage with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be self-starters as well as collaborative team players. Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments will be key responsibilities for the candidate. Adaptability to changes in tasks, work environment, and work structures is also a crucial strength.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math.
  • 3 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment.
  • 3 or more years proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
  • 3 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient in structured problem solving.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.
  • Develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
  • Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.
  • Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.
  • Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.
  • Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow plans, #1 flows, and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment, material and personnel.
