The Utility Metering Technician supports Dartmouth's Engineering and Utilities Department in the maintenance of the Campus's utility metering infrastructure. The Technician must be proficient, or can quickly learn proficiency, in all aspects of the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric, chilled water, hot water, and steam condensate utility meters. The Technician's duties include installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and electronic meter components, liquid flow monitoring devices, and temperature sensors. The Technician is also responsible for coordinating, troubleshooting, and maintaining meter communication with Dartmouth's Campus Energy Management System (CEMS). The Metering Technician may also be called upon to assist in other areas of the Energy Management Program.
