About The Position

A Metering Technician Aide, supports critical metering and operations functions while gaining hands-on experience in electric distribution systems. What You Bring to the Table: We are looking for a candidate with a proficient understanding of electrical technology, circuit analysis, safety, and related knowledge. A strong candidate must have leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills. They are able to work independently and communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar field is preferred, with a minimum of (1) one year of related work experience. Essential duties and responsibilities for this role include: Install, test, repair, and replace utility meters. Troubleshoot metering and service issues, including voltage complaints and load investigations. Coordinate with operations, billing, and member services to ensure accurate metering and service information. Maintain accurate records of metering, service connections, and system changes in accordance with cooperative standards. Perform basic calculations related to electrical loads, conductor sizing, and service requirements under supervision. Requirements
