About The Position
As a Meter Technician at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, you will be dedicated to delivering energy that drives progress while putting people first and ensuring safety. Your role will involve accurately reading and recording meter consumption, processing disconnections for non-payments, and collecting overdue payments. You will also perform periodic meter changes, conduct fuel line pressure tests, and ensure customer equipment complies with safety codes. Your responsibilities will include investigating leak complaints, using gas detection equipment, and maintaining accurate records of service orders. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure their safety while adhering to company policies and regulations.
